Door County Maritime Museum is an immersive maritime museum that aims at displaying the rich and varied maritime life that Sturgeon Bay is blessed with. Inaugurated in 1997, the museum has additional locations in Gills Rock and Cana Island Light. It features multiple galleries with fascinating displays about fisherman, lighthouse keepers, sailors, and ingenious inventors who have made their name in the area and the Great Lakes.
